If alcohol will be served or available at your event, you are required to have appropriate liability insurance and obtain any state-required permits. These measures are in place to help ensure that you, your guests, and the venue are fully protected in the event of any alcohol-related incidents.
🛡️ Insurance Coverage Requirements
You must provide proof of at least $1 million in liquor liability coverage, and the policy must name both WorkZone Solutions LLC and Spy Run Solutions LLC located at 2135 Spy Run Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805 additional insureds.
You may satisfy the insurance requirement using any one of the following options:
Hire a Licensed Bartender or Catering Service
The vendor must have a valid 2-way or a 3-way license, carry liquor liability insurance and be able to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) meeting the requirements listed above.
Purchase a One-Day Special Event Liability Policy
Policies are available through providers such as K&K, Markel, GEICO, or eWed and must include host liquor liability coverage.
Use Your Homeowners Insurance
Many homeowners policies include host liquor liability coverage for private events. You’ll need documentation confirming at least $1 million in coverage. Your agent can often increase coverage temporarily for your event.

📅 Required Documentation & Support
To keep your event running smoothly and in compliance with our alcohol policy, please review the following requirements:
All insurance documents and permits must be submitted at least 7 days before your event.
This ensures we have time to review and verify that all requirements are met.
Additional security may be required depending on guest count, time of day, or nature of the event.
If security is required, you may provide your own licensed guard or contract one through us for $150 (up to 3 hours). Additional time is billed at $50/hour, and charges will be added to your final invoice.

Alcohol service must end at the scheduled event end time—no exceptions.
All alcohol must remain within the rented event space at all times.
No open containers or bottles may be left unattended on tables, bars, or counters.
Open bottles must be disposed of at the end of the event to prevent guests from leaving with open containers.
Guests who appear excessively intoxicated may be asked to leave; continued issues may result in early closure of the event.
No alcohol may be served to guests under 21. IDs may be checked at any time.
A valid ATC Temporary Beer & Wine Permit must be clearly displayed throughout the event.
Alcohol must be served by someone with a valid Indiana Employee Permit (either a licensed bartender or approved individual).
